These terms explain how Stoke Digital looks after the marketing data we use to deliver our services. They form part of our Terms and Conditions and sit alongside your agreement with us.
Why we bring your data together
Your ad, analytics and store data usually lives in separate platforms that don’t talk to each other. We connect it into one secure database so we can run AI-powered analytics across all of it. That helps us spot trends sooner, find what’s really driving sales, and bring you clearer insights to guide your growth decisions.
1. Your data stays yours
You own the data from your ad, analytics and ecommerce accounts. We hold a copy only to deliver our services to you. We’ll never sell it, use it for another client, or share it outside the tools we use for analytics and reporting.
2. What we collect
We mainly bring in performance data, like spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, revenue and campaign names. Some platforms, like Shopify, can include order-level details. We use this only to build your reporting and insights.
3. The tools we use
We work with a small set of trusted, reputable providers to connect to your accounts, securely store your data, and run AI-powered analysis and reporting. Technology is moving fast, so the specific tools we use will evolve as better options come along. Whatever we use, your data is only ever shared with providers doing these jobs for us. If you’d like to know which providers we currently use, just ask.
4. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in Sydney, Australia. Some of our providers may also process data in other countries, such as the United States, as part of their service.
5. How we use AI
AI helps us turn your data into useful insight. We use it to analyse performance across your channels, find patterns that are easy to miss, and prepare your reporting. We may also use software, automation and AI tools to help manage your accounts.
We oversee how these tools are used, review every recommendation before it reaches you, and put things right promptly if anything needs fixing. Our AI provider doesn’t train its models on your data under our business terms.
6. Access and security
- Our team and approved contractors only access your data as needed to deliver our services, and are bound by confidentiality.
- We only give our tools the level of access the work needs.
- If we ever become aware of unauthorised access to your data, we’ll let you know promptly.
7. Deleting your data
Any records saved in our databases are deleted within 30 days of your request, or within 30 days of our engagement ending. If you’d like a copy first, just ask and we’ll export it within 14 days. Backups clear out in their normal cycle, and we only keep records the law requires us to.
If you’d like data deleted while we’re still working together, we’ll talk you through how that affects your reporting.
8. Updates
We may update these terms as our tools and best practice evolve. We’ll email you at least 30 days before any significant update takes effect.
