Greetings! I’m Daniel Kelly, also known as DK, a passionate digital marketing strategist with over 12 years’ experience. 

My journey includes helping to start up one of New Zealand’s fastest-growing digital agencies where I worked across a diverse range of exciting eCommerce and service based client accounts. I’ve also worked in a range of senior marketing roles client side, including Head of Marketing for one of NZ’s largest women’s fashion brands.

My ideal eCommerce client has already established a foothold in their market and are doing over $20,000 per month in sales and looking to grow. Businesses doing over $1m per month in sales are just as suited to me, in fact there’s often more opportunities.

My ideal service based business, is anyone looking to improve their lead quality and/or volume, or wanting to improve their lead qualifying process to enhance their business efficiency.

I’ve found that there are a lot of agencies who are run by sales people outsourcing their work to junior staff or offshore agencies to make a profit. I am 100% against this service, and want to only provide an exceptional service to my clientele.

When you work with Stoke Digital, you work directly with me (DK). This ensures that work we discuss get’s done and to my high standard.

  1. Introductory call to learn more about each other and see if there is potential for us to work together.

     

  2. Gain access to your digital properties (under NDA) – to get a look under the hood of your business.

     

  3. Second call – this call is a combination of insight sharing from my fresh perspective, and client discovery (where you share). Key conversation topics include:
    – your target market
    – your competitors
    – what makes your business unique
    – messaging and creative resources
    – the key services required to ensure your marketing can succeed.

     

  4. Proposal time. Sometimes I will share multiple proposals so you can choose the option that best suits your requirements and budget.

     

  5. Execution – we will work as closely as required to get you up and running (the level of requirement from the client varies based on the business’s technical maturity and our agreements).

     

  6. Ongoing communication, optimisation and reporting will shape our way forward together. Quarterly strategy sessions where we go deeper into extra opportunities are available. These sessions help to ensure we’re always pushing the business forward as much as possible.

No. I will only ask for a 30-90 day contract agreement depending on the level of dedication required at setup. This is because a lot of my time and energy goes into onboarding, so if a client requires more time in the early phase, then the contract terms will be at the higher end of the spectrum.

Of course it comes down to business goals and the specific strategy.

But when it comes to eCommerce, there are literally 100s of metrics I will be monitoring across your tech stack. But below are the three key metrics that will standout and highlight how successful our strategy is:

  1. eROAS – Ecosystem ROAS (Total Revenue/Total Ad Spend)
  2. ncROAS – New Customer ROAS (Total New Customer Revenue/Total Ad Spend)
  3. POAS – Profit on Ad Spend (Gross Profit/Total Ad Spend)

With service based businesses, lead volume is easy to measure, however lead quality is harder to measure with data, so instead requires more communication back and forth between us and the business operator. We pride ourself on lead quality check-ins, as we understand quality over quantity is the name of this game.
